Dear Ms. Jackson,

Thank you for a decade of service to South Carolina. Piedmont Care's work to ensure accessible and quality health care, raise public awareness, and prevent the spread of HIV has proven to be a benefit to the Upstate.

Your hard work has enhanced the quality of life for those directly and indirectly affected with HIV/AIDS. Through Ryan White Title II and Title III funding, local fundraising efforts and community partnerships, you have made quality health care available to more than 800 South Carolinians. Piedmont Care's unique methods to raise community awareness of prevention and understanding have helped prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and educate our state about HIV/AIDS.

As our nation continues to treat HIV/AIDS and works to prevent the spread of the disease, programs like Piedmont Care provide needed medical care to patients, and important messages to the community. In a state like South Carolina, which ranks 9th in the nation for HIV infections, these services are even more important.

For your tireless efforts in this area of critical need, I thank you for everything you have done to address the complex issue of HIV/AIDS in your community. I look forward to your continued progress and wish you the best of luck as Piedmont Care continues its mission.
