    Tracey L. Jackson

    Executive Director

    Tracey L. Jackson is the Executive Director at Piedmont Care, Inc.  She began this position in 1998, becoming the first and only Executive Director of the organization to date.  At Piedmont Care, she effectively runs a team of case managers, health educators, volunteers, and clinical providers to coordinate and provide medical, social, and psychological services for individuals and families affected by or at risk for HIV.  During her tenure, she has expanded services to fill gaps in care and prevention, significantly increased resources focused on the epidemic, grown an innovative prevention program, and developed key partnerships to ensure success.

    She is a graduate of the Management Academy of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Furman University’s Connections:  Women Leaders of the Upstate.  She also completed the Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership and Management certificate program through The Learning Institute and Wofford College.  Among her many awards are the 2015 Distinguished Alumna of the Year from the University of South Carolina Upstate, the 2013 Outstanding Career Achievements Award from South Carolina Business & Professional Women, the 2012 GSA Business Health Care Hero of the Year (professional), and the 1999 Alma and T.R. Garrison Professional Health Person of the Year.  Tracey earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and Clemson University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

    Case Management Supervisor

    Trista holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from USC Upstate, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Human Services degree with a concentration in Public Health. She was previously employed with the Charles Lea Center.

    Lennel joined our team in July 2017. She received her Masters of Health Administration from Saint Louis University in 2013, and obtained her BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College. Her background is in specialty pharmaceuticals and mental health.

    Loree joined our team in May 2016.  She earned her BA from Converse College where she majored in Business with a concentration in Marketing.She previously worked for local nonprofit, AccessHealth Spartanburg.

    Linda has over twenty-five years experience as an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. She was previously employed with Cobden Properties, Inc. in Spartanburg.

    Abby joined Piedmont Care as a Medical Case Manager in August 2018. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Milligan College in 2015, and moved to the Spartanburg area in 2017 to serve a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA with AccessHealth.

    Case Manager

    Amy joined Piedmont Care as a Case Manager in November 2016. She has as Masters in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She received her BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies at the University of North Carolina in Asheville. Amy has been previously employed in various healthcare settings and community based non-profits, and is a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager. She serves on the NASW Board of Directors as a Western Unit Chair.

    Theresa earned her BS in Social Psychology from Park University in Missouri. She was formerly employed with Priorities ABA, where she worked with autistic children, and the United Sates Marine Corps.

    Noelle earned her BA in Social Work from Columbia College in South Carolina. She brings 23 years of social work experience to her position. Prior to joining Piedmont Care, she was a medical social worker with hospice.

    Michele is a 2013 graduate of Spartanburg Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Administrative Office Technology.  She is currently attending the University of South Carolina – Upstate to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

    Medical Case Manager

    Tanna has a BA in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and also studied Women's Studies and Social Work. She has worked in social work and advocacy since 2003 and previously worked in homelessness services in Oklahoma City.
